Remember The Fat Man And Little Boy……..

August 1945………………..That’s what they called the nuclear bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki…………..62 years ago……It’s been 62 years since the nuclear option was used, the only time, by the United States of America.

A long time……now the U.S.A. has 10,000 or so nuclear warheads sitting there (deteriorating……should they be replaced? ( Cast your vote now @ Parade.com, not that anyone will listen)…….The nuclear option is still on the table according to the Democratic front running candidates, Clinton and Obama, and I’m fairly sure the opposition will concur. Apparently, Obama said he would not use nuclear weapons on civilians………???…What if civilians are in the fallout range? Which, of course, they would be………ON THE TABLE………

I think we’re getting pretty close to the bottom line here……….We, as a species, have managed to quite screw up the planet in less a hundred years………So, I want a candidate for President that is not putting nuclear bombs on my dinner table………Who might that be?……….Dennis Kucinich………….Look at what he is saying………It’s vastly different from “on the table”………..And it’s time to try to change the status quo………See, we have a choice, again, to go with what’s been……or to try something different………nuclear disarmament……….fix up those bombs, or dismantle…….try to back off from the bully in the schoolyard image, start working for a true and just peace……….this country can take the lead………..if YOU, the American Public, would demand it………..Yes, I still have a few shreds of Hope left…….
